Virtual Drive: just click and restore
Reducing the complexity of IT is generally the best way to save time and money. A good example is the IASO Virtual Drive technology for Windows.
With IASO Virtual Drive backup data, encrypted in blocks on a (local or remote) disk system, can be approached using Windows Explorer, as if the data are stored on the regular network disk. With these data the same operations can be carried out as with data that are stored on a normal disk. For example, file previews in order to check the right file version are available. This makes an easy Drag & Drop restore possible.
Microsoft Exchange brick level recovery
The transparency of IASO Virtual Drive makes it possible for applications to approach the backup data as if it was stored locally. It is, for example, possible to mount a Microsoft Exchange Store backup as a Recovery Storage Group, without the need to restore the backup first. The combination of Restore on Demand and Delta Restore makes sure that only the data blocks that are really necessary are being restored over the IP connection. So you can restore on brick level from a store level Exchange backup.
